On January 28th, 2012 I left Toronto and headed west. I will keep heading west until I hit Toronto again. Over the course of the next year I will circumnavigate the planet by travelling through over 20 countries and 4 continents without flying. I am the opposite of wealthy and will be doing this adventure on a very thin shoestring budget. There will be plenty of rough rides ahead and I plan to make it a little harder by trying to attempt new physical challenges everywhere I go.
My very flexible planned route is as follows: Canada, USA, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Sinagpore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, some more European countries, USA, Canada. If you have suggestions of things to do along this route, or suggestions for deviating my route, please let me know.
Oh and I'm a 24 year old guy that graduated in 2010 and have worked in the USA and Ghana as a researcher and a business-y type person since.
